Posted by Brian | Posted in Water Features | Posted on 22-03-2010

Even if you’re not interested in the World Cup, being played out later this year in South Africa, we may have something from that continent that would interest you?

We have imported for this season some really funky monoliths of various colours.

They are in limited supply and being so different, I don’t think they’ll be around too long.

We have for a really contemporary look,  Blue Sodolite and Red  Jasper, both sporting bright, vibrant colours.

Whilst for a more calming effect, we have the beautiful Rose Quartz, which looks absolutely stunning when ‘uplit’ after dark.

Which ever stone you choose, you’ll get the same great value of the monolith, reservoir, pump, piping, light, delivery to your home and vat all included in the www.waterfeatures2u.com price, no nasty hidden ‘add ons’.

Exclusive New ‘Whale Tail’ Fountain swims into our range….

Posted by Brian | Posted in Garden Features, Water Features | Posted on 26-02-2010

This striking fountain, which is exclusive to our website, captures all of the grace and beauty of a water feature; unusual yet sophisticated, its clean lines accurately reflect nature - the whale diving with water dripping from the fluke.
The fountain’s stunning simplicity gives it a versatility of its own, majestic in a lake, amusing in a pond or breathtaking as a centrepiece in a residential, retail environment or commercial setting.  It can also be used as a centrepiece in a swimming pool.  The whale fountain is handcrafted in Somerset, England and is constructed from a tough, maintenance free composite, which is gently reflective giving a slight sparkle in the sun and when wet.  It is mounted on a galvanised steel subframe designed to fit your preferred setting.

Measuring 79 inches across, the fluke stands 60 inches out of the water and has 12 adjustable water jets at the rear.   The flow of the water from the fountain can be varied, with the preferred option being a gentle curtain of water.

Our New Blog…

Posted by Brian | Posted in Garden Features, Water Features | Posted on 24-02-2010

As I’ve always had problems trying to find the time to write a full blown newsletter, I thought it better to try my hand at ‘blogging’, so here goes…

I’m sure I’m not alone when I say that I’m well and truly fed up with the snow!  Every time we make plans to get out into our show garden to try and freshen it up and add new products, another downpour of the white stuff arrives!

We have many new and exciting products to bring you in the coming weeks; not least our selection of huge ‘hand made’ pots we’ve imported from Crete, both for use as planters and water features. We’re getting very positive feed back from everyone who have either seen, or bought them.

Look out also for the GIANT Whale tail fountain (it is over six foot in old money, or 1.8 metres if you are younger than me), it’s sure to cause a splash!

Also, in the coming weeks, time allowing, I hope to explain to the uninitiated, how to set up and look after a water feature and ideas and jobs to be done within the garden.

If you have any points you’d like covering, why not send me an email and I’ll answer them within this blog?

In the meantime, keep warm,  read your catalogues and search the web, Spring is on its way!
